Christmas in Korea

It’s worth starting with the fact that Christmas in South Korea is celebrated on December 25, just like in Europe, and this day is a public holiday. However, Christmas is not associated with religion here; for many, it is a great reason to spend the whole day with your significant other on a cozy date. So, walking in the center of Seoul on this day, you will certainly see many happy young people enjoying dates surrounded by Christmas decorations and a festive atmosphere.Koreans really know a lot about how to create the atmosphere of Christmas, New Year holidays and winter comfort in the city. The main streets are decorated with figured garlands, bright Christmas trees delight the eye at every step, cafes and restaurants try to decorate their windows with figurines of Santa and elves.
