- My uncle said to us: ” I buy newspapers every day”.
My uncle told to us that he buy newspapers every day. - “What do you think of the performance?” asked Peter.
Peter asked what I thought of the performance. - “Where have you put my glasses?” my sister asked.
My sister asked where I had put her glasses. - He said: ” Don’t make a noise”.
He told me not to make a noise. - ” You needn’t write any more papers on the subjects” said the teacher.
The teacher said that I needn’t write any more papers on the subjects. - She said to me: ” I shall go to the shopping when mother comes”.
She told me that she would go shopping when her mother came. - ” Why has the 2:30 train been cancelled?” asked Ann.
Ann asked why the 2:30 train had been cancelled. - ” Are there smoking compartments in this train?” I asked the conductor.
I asked the conductor if there were smoking compartments in that train. - ” Don’t believe everything you hear”, Martha said to me.
Martha told me not to believe everything I heard. - I said to him: ” Put on your hat if you don’t want to catch a cold”.
I told him to put on his hat if he didn’t want to catch a cold. - ” Yesterday I saw an accident on my way to the University” he said
He said that he had seen an accident on his way to the university the previous day. - ” Who has dropped this ten pond note?” I asked.
I asked who had dropped that ten-pound note. - ” Are you interested in politics?” asked Bob.
Bob asked if I was interested in politics. - ” Please, do as I say”, he asked me.
He asked me to do as he said. - He asked me: ” Have you already translated the article?”.
He asked me if I had already translated the article.
